OceanGate organizes “citizen scientist” deep ocean expeditions … unique experiences for people looking to gain knowledge and experience while giving valuable much-needed support to leading researchers. As an active participant in these scientific field research operations and a critical member of our team, you will:

2010 Expeditions

Our 2010 expeditions will focus around Antipodes, our 5-person submarine that features twin hemispherical domes and depth capabilities up to 900 feet. Our expeditions include areas largely unexplored by manned submersibles that have fertile environments for generating new scientific discoveries in marine biology and marine archeology.

ROV Missions

Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs) are tethered underwater robots controlled by pilots working on shore or surface boats. OceanGate's ROV Missions put the experience of piloting ROVs in your hands. Our fully customizable offerings are tailored to your interests and give you the most unique experience around. Learn from our Chief ROV Pilot and then take over the controls while you chronicle shipwrecks, document marine life and explore the depths. We strive to seek out new and adventurous dive sites throughout the Puget Sound region and are continuously adding new offerings.
