We are looking for a savvy expedition leader to help plan, organize, and supervise submarine dive expeditions to explore unknown undersea sites with scientists, adventurers, and film makers.

Successful candidates for this full-time, Miami-based position can:

• Lead the crew, mission specialists and scientists to safely execute dive operations to achieve the mission objects
• Juggle competing demands of client expectations, safety, weather conditions, staffing, scientific objectives, budgets and other unknowns
• Act as company spokesperson with the media and represent the company and expedition crew at public events
• Create and maintain professional relationships with vendors, partners and supporters
• Act autonomously to make mission-critical decisions directly impacting mission accomplishment, client satisfaction, and personal safety
• Supervise the safe and effective deployment of all marine assets, including surface vessels, submarines, and ROVs, as well as personnel and shore operations

A successful expedition leader:

• Has a passion for exploring the oceans and for sharing knowledge of the undersea world
• Has led complex projects while delivering a high quality customer experience
• Is mission driven and understands how daily decisions affect the client experience and long-term objectives
• Is cool under fire and can work autonomously in remote locations with limited direct senior support
• Is a self-starter, an innovative problem solver and can manage competing egos with a sense of humor and firm decisiveness
• Is willing to travel to domestic and international locations for extended periods of time
• Has excellent oral and written communications skills
• Exhibits sound judgment, is financially prudent and can manage a budget on the fly as mission plans evolve
• Is flexible, organized, personable, persuasive and logical
• Can manage a mission while adhering to government regulations and the OceanGate Operations Manual
• Has an understanding of marine operations and scuba diving
• Possesses uncanny common sense, situational awareness, and attention to detail

We are looking for an organized, articulate and personable client services pro to communicate with clients, coordinate their activities, and assist the expedition team with product delivery. This is not a sales position.

In this full-time, Miami-based position, you will:

• Help coordinate and deliver unique submarine dive expeditions to explore unknown undersea sites with scientists, adventurers, and film makers
• Work collaboratively with the marine operations and dive teams
• Coordinate Mission Specialist Ground School sessions and assist submarine pilots with preparing and presenting training material to small groups
• Advocate for clients during dive missions and provide direct client support as needed
• Assist with expedition planning including researching future expedition locations
• Assist the VP Expeditions and Expedition Leader with administrative tasks as needed

A successful client coordinator:

• Has a passion for exploring the oceans and for sharing knowledge of the undersea world
• Possesses common sense, situational awareness, and attention to detail
• Is customer service oriented and has excellent oral and written communication skills
• Has the interpersonal skills to engage and build rapport with a wide range of clients with diverse backgrounds and strong egos
• Has two or more years providing customer service and delivering a high quality client experience – preferably a travel-related experience
• Can multi-task and prioritize in a dynamic environment
• Is proficient using MS Office products (Word, Excel) and customer relationship management software
• Is available to work weekends and a non-standard schedule as the expedition schedule requires
• Is willing to travel to domestic and international locations for extended periods
• Exhibits sound judgment, is a self-starter and creative problem solver

We are looking for a versatile communications pro who can produce compelling material for print, video and web.

Successful candidates for this full-time, Miami-based position can:

• Own a variety of communications projects from start to finish and manage their production in a dynamic environment
• Design and produce collateral for print and digital media
• Shoot and edit video to tell stories that inform and entertain
• Manage website content and coordinate all social media
• Manage a media library of video and photographs
• Write copy for press releases, web pages, and brochures
• Manage vendor relations

We are seeking someone with:

• A breadth of skills and an ability to multi-task
• Demonstrated experience using InDesign, Photoshop, Premier or Final Cut Pro, Illustrator, Word and Excel
• Demonstrated experience editing HTML and CSS code for basic web updates
• Public relations experience
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• A willingness to trade some income for adventure and opportunity
